A few comments on Revolution and the other musicians who play there: The reason I like Revolution is the fact that they bring in non-dance music to the club, its a sort of fuck you statement. Everyone has different tastes in music yet everyone works together as a collective. Thats something I haven't seen in Lansing ever. No bickering or bitching about who's crew is better. Revolution isn't one person its everyone and all different factions can give and take from it. I think as it evolves it also needs to be kept in check so that it remains a collective and not just a under control of a few people because then it won't progress musically and artistically. It will become stagnant.
What do you see in your musical future: finally opening up a record store with music I like, putting out that first 7" on my label, and starting an acid-jazz band.
What do you see for the future of music: There's a lot of shitty music out there. Its hard to tell.
