Style of Music: multi-genre jumping electronica -- Download Rubber Band Banjo's music

Goals: To improve as a 'home recording' electronic musician and at guitar/other instruments for Brickburner, eventually learn how to perform live as an electronic musician, and to be part of an electronic music group for possible collaborations, giving/receiving feedback, and contributing to/taking part in/promoting musical events.

Sponsor/Asset contributions? Software: Fruityloops, MTV Music Generator, Techno Ejay, Cool Edit Pro 2; Casio CTK-471 keyboard; loop libraries.

What do you see in your musical future: Overcoming the gap between what I want my electronic music to sound like and what it sounds like right now, continuing to play guitar and other instruments with Brickburner, performing live as an electronic musician, and being involved in the electronic music scene.

What do you see for the future of music: The further blurring of lines between musical genres, technology as the backbone for improving musical creativity/capabilities, more intersection between different forms of art, science, and entertainment (music, film, radio, etc.), and the rise of independent music.

A few comments on Revolution and the other musicians who play there: From what I've seen, I really like how eclectic the music is by DJs/performers and the general vibe of the events. It's cool that Revolution is not limited to a specific type or types of music.

Websites you visit frequently: [music related] www.garageband.com, www.pitchforkmedia.com, http://www.webofmimicry.com, www.jester-records.com, www.ninjatune.net, www.warprecords.com, www.ipecac.com, www.aquariusrecords.org

What do you have to offer to "Revolution"? Not that I'm much of an expert, but I can help anyone who wants to learn about/do computer-based recording with samples, sequencing, and sound manipulation. Also, I'd like to perform live to expand the Revolution performers list after I learn and am comfortable performing live, if possible. I would like to help with the coordination of events, being on the 'street team' to distribute flyers, and other jobs that seem appropriate for me to work on.
